Dili, 22 May 2025 – The National Sport Commission (NSC), in collaboration with the Dili Institute of Technology (DIT), held an Anti-Doping Workshop at the DIT Auditorium. The event brought together 40 students from various academic disciplines, aiming to raise awareness on anti-doping values and reinforce the importance of integrity in sport.

The workshop was attended by NSC Executive Secretary, Mr. Cesarino da Silva, Pro-Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Mr. João Bosco Belo, and Professor and Student Coordinator, Ms. Bernadete Magalhães. In their remarks, they emphasized the role of universities in shaping responsible athletes and future leaders committed to fair play and clean competition.

Students actively engaged in the sessions, asking questions and reflecting on the role they can play in promoting clean sport. Their enthusiasm underscored the importance of ongoing education initiatives, and the event marked a promising step toward building a strong culture of anti-doping awareness among Timor-Leste’s youth.
